The Reeves Sleeve 122 is a unique product that converts a full-size backboard into a patient immobilization device. It can be used for vertical or horizontal lifting in first aid and basic life support (BLS) situations. This is the perfect device for extrication from confined spaces because it fits over a backboard. The attached head immobilizer keeps the head stable during patient handling.

The load capacity has been tested to over 1,000 pounds. It does not cause feet to angle outward like other popular plastic lifting devices. The sleeve material is a vinyl laminated nylon that meets Mil Spec C 4300 Type 1, Class 1 antifungal vinyl, and is resistant to acids, alkalies, and liquids. It is easily cleaned with soap and water for proper infection control. The carry handles are constructed from 6,000 lbs tensile strength webbing for helicopter or rope rescues.
The Reeves Sleeve 122 has six chest and leg straps with buckles and a yellow fail-safe strap for extra patient security. There is also a spine board compartment for extra support.
