This innovative, portable patient transport unit has a load capacity of more than 1000 pounds and can accommodate any size patient, including pediatric victims.

Often, emergency medical services (EMS) are tasked with transporting patients from extremely hard to reach areas as part of their job. Search and rescue teams have to search for lost individuals in deserts, thick forests, and boulder-strewn mountains, and unfortunately, some emergency situations are just not feasible with a rigid stretcher. In all of these occasions, different circumstances make a traditional stretcher the inferior choice to assist the patient. The MegaMover Plus allows up to six emergency professionals or first responders to assist in a patient’s transport or transfer by featuring 14 handles (6 on each side, 1 on each end). The handle placement allows for ergonomic lifting and safer patient handling. Handles are available in regular or Power Grip configurations. (Power Grip handles feature additional padding and protection for persons performing the lifting.)
