If you live in/around Middleburg Heights, Ohio, you will see a new vehicle on the road these days. Darryll Headley of Penn Care recently delivered a 2011 Ford F650 XLT Crew Cab Braun Super Chief ambulance to the  Middleburg Heights Fire Department. Congratulations on your new emergency vehicle Lieutenant Brian Villwock and Chief Bryan Gargas!

The Middleburg Heights Fire Department has been a professional fire fighting service since 1945. In addition to being responsible for fire suppression and prevention, the department handles a large number of medical emergencies that require paramedic training and advanced lifesaving skills. They currently have 26 full time fire fighters with additional support staff to serve 8.2 square miles of residential and wooded areas, clean industry, and warehouse, office and retail properties. All of their firefighters are certified paramedics.
The new ambulance Penn Care delivered was a Braun Super Chief. The 2011 Ford F650 XLT Crew Cab chassis is a medium duty chassis that provides maximum safety for a crew three. It has a proven power train and was available to the fire department at a reasonable price. The squad committee of Middleburg Heights was looking for the highest level of quality, safety and customer service when it came to purchasing their new emergency vehicle. Based on this, they decided to go with a Braun ambulance; an additional benefit to the department was that all Braun ambulances are custom built in Van Wert, Ohio.

Awesome ambulance! Our company started production on Kenworth crew cab conversions with J2422 certification for the emergency service industry. Braun Ambulances look like on awesome product. We are near Fort Wayne, and I see they are in Van Wert Ohio; I hope to be doing business with them and Penn Care. I am glad Middleburg Heights made the investment for their community.
