Penn Care recently entered its 25th year as an authorized dealer of Braun emergency vehicles. Braun is the unparalleled industry leader in craftsmanship, safety and innovation, and has been building high-quality ambulances since 1972. With five standard models built on a variety of chassis, and several types of specialty ambulances, Braun offers a very diverse line of emergency vehicles.
In order to keep up with industry trends and new innovations in the ambulance industry, the sales force at Penn Care regularly attends tradeshows, training seminars and sales meetings. One of the premier events is the annual Braun Ambulance Dealers Meeting, which was recently held at the MotorCity Casino and Hotel in Detroit, Michigan. This event provided a multitude of information and training and allowed the staff at Penn Care to gain insightful knowledge to help them better support their customers.
The meeting consisted of numerous lectures, group activities and a hands-on tour of several models offered by Braun. This dynamic training program ensured that everyone participated and stayed engaged throughout the learning process. Several executives from Braun Ambulance, including Chad Brown, Scott Braun and Gary Kohls, gave presentations on everything from annual sales numbers to engineering updates and sales methods. Several representatives from Kenworth and International were also on hand to provide everyone with chassis updates. Bob Butler, CEO of Butler Learning Systems, gave a very in-depth lecture on value selling techniques and also broke the conference up into groups for several learning activities. Penn Care Vice President, Don Bloom, gave a presentation on the SWOT analysis of a competing ambulance manufacturer and showed why Braun, with superior features, quality and customizable options, is the hands down leader in the industry.
In addition to the training and knowledge gained from the meeting, Penn Care also walked away with an award. Penn Care Vice President, Don Bloom was named Sales Champion of Region 1 and received some well-deserved recognition for his efforts. Overall, the meeting was very beneficial to everyone involved and Penn Care looks forward to many more successful years as a certified dealer for the leading ambulance manufacturer in the industry.
